Covid-19 vaccine

Because of the Covid-19 the race for a vaccine is on and right now there are at least 35 different vaccines in preliminary stages around the world. Researches are moving at breakneck speeds and progress is being made ridiculously fast and the most promising vaccines right now are ones that are very different from the traditional vaccines we all know about, this type of vaccine is called RNA vaccine. Just like normal vaccine RNA get the body to produce antibodies which can attack potential pathogens but this RNA vaccine do so in a totally different way and scientists think that this simple yet groundbreaking concept could be the way to stop coronavirus in its tracks.

The key to making seasonal flu vaccine provides lots and lots of eggs. Egg based vaccines manufacturing is used to make both the inactivated vaccine the flu shot and the live attenuated vaccine, the nasal spray vaccine and they have been making them this way for the last 70 years. The process begins when the candidate flu virus is injected into fertilized chicken eggs, they are then incubated for several days to allow the viruses to replicate. For inactivated influenza vaccines the viruses are then killed and the virus antigen is purified, for the live attenuated vaccines the process is even more involved they have to be modified to no longer be infectious to humans but remain similar enough to the original virus to produce an immune response, this done by allowing the virus to mutate over time inside the chick cells and it slowly becomes more adapted to infect chicken cells. This process takes a long time, production can take months. So, when they are telling you that this deadly virus is killing everybody then you are more ready to accept what is coming to you as a solution. The viruses in question is also expensive and requires a massive number of eggs, it takes about one egg to make one vaccine some of the corona virus vaccine development projects are using this more traditional approaches but others are using newer technology to try to circumvent these problems, one company is MODERNA. Moderna is leading the charge in crating an mRNA vaccine that could be the first of its type approved for human use and the vaccine called mRNA-1273 could become the first coronavirus vaccine available to the public.

The virus itself does not have to be propagated to make a vaccine this cuts out a time-consuming process and instead uses the human body in a sense to manufacture its own vaccine. If the DNA is the general, then RNA acts as the soldier this upcoming vaccine will tell your soldiers what to do without the permission of the general (DNA). In this way they do not have to wait several years which is normally required to make traditional vaccines, RNA vaccines can be made in the lab in approximately one week using readily available materials and because it is relatively easy to encode mRNA with any nucleic acid sequence variations of the vaccine can be made quickly to using the same production methods and manufacturing facilities. The reason they started this is because there will be more "new" mutating viruses in the future, they will release more viruses in the future. They have been working on this for a long time and have now come to the next step.

As most people now they use mice (white mice) to test the effectiveness of RNA vaccines for a range of infectious diseases including the Ebola virus h1n1 influenza and Toxoplasama gondii (single cell parasite, who has a cat as the main host). DNA and RNA vaccines have also been used for years in veterinary medicine for diseases like rabies, foot and mouth disease, bronchitis caused by a different form of corona virus and chickens. The scientific basis for the corona virus RNA vaccine is sound and if can be produced so quickly why isn’t it already out there? The answer is that the science of mRNA vaccines may be proven in animal models, but it will still require a lot of testing in humans before it can be general public. This is one of the reasons why we are constantly being told about various diseases that occur in Africa and other so-called poor countries. Africa is also the place where they want to test the coronavirus vaccine, just like everything else. If it works on the world's oldest population, they know it will work on all the people on the planet and the trials need to rule out if the vaccine could be ineffective or worse unsafe (all vaccines are unsafe). The main risk that researchers they want to avoid is a phenomenon called disease enhancement, this is when vaccinated people who do get infected with the actual virus develop a more severe form of the disease than people who had never been vaccinated.

For the new vaccines being developed researchers and regulators are trying to fast-track the process to drop the new coronavirus vaccine while also trying to not cut any corners, they acknowledge that the risk of disease enhancement is low but the risk of not getting vaccines advanced quickly and “more and more people dying” is high the company Moderna has broken records with how quickly they moved from obtaining the genetic sequence to developing a vaccine ready for human testing just in 42 (6) days. Phase one testing for mRNA vaccine has just begun with the first ever person being injected with the new vaccine just days ago. They think that the vaccine can be ready for regulatory approval in 18 (9) months that feels like ages when it seems like the world is crumbling around us but is in lightning speed for this process. One of the reasons their vaccine development has been so fast is the work they have been done every two years since 2008. We have had new viruses every other year since 2008 starting with the Avian virus. The work they have done over the past two years working to develop a vaccine against the MERS (2010) virus so when the company received the coronavirus genomic sequence in January the stage was already set. The vaccine that is coming 2021 would be a world record.

Another guy that is strongly involved in this vaccine game is Bill Gates he’s at the forefront of this whole vaccination situation I mean just think about it we are talking about a guy who runs Microsoft and we all know the difference between Microsoft and an Apple. The difference is one of them is going to give you a virus and one of them don’t okay you are dealing with the same individual who’s been plugging viruses to you (laughing) and virus software. This crazy guy been fighting viruses for the longest, but he has never been able to figure out how to actually stop, he is always in the fight for fighting viruses but never stopped nothing. Just think about this before you start letting this guy who could not stop it in a computer now work on your body (please think while it still doesn't cost money to think) hmm. The same individual that could not stop it in a play world is trying to hop into the real world a medical field and use the same tactics on your body. This is essentially what is happening you start to be dealing with viruses versus vaccines. This dude been messing with the goddamn vaccine for the longest. The question now is it trustworthy is it something you can depend on? I have my answer, what is yours?
